LifeFest Kapalua Pu`u Kukui Nature Walk

 

Take an exclusive hike into Pu`u Kukui Nature Preserve, located on the slopes of Hale Mahina (West Maui Mountains). This pristine area is one of the biologically richest areas in Hawaii, home to more than a dozen plant and animal species found nowhere else on Earth. Proceeds benefit the Pu`u Kukui Watershed Management Program.

 

SCHEDULE

Thursday, September 23, 2004

(NOTE: In case of inclement weather, hike will be rescheduled to Friday, September 24, 2004.)

 

Confirmed hikers will receive instructions on where to meet in Kapalua Resort. They will be transported to hike site via helicopter. Daypacks and lunch will be provided.

 

RESERVATIONS

  • Space is limited to 11 people.

  • Reservations accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. Payment by check must be received with registration form in order to confirm placement on hike.

  • $1,100 per person. Make check payable to: Maui Pineapple Company.

  • No refund if hiker is unable to participate on rain back-up day (see Schedule Note, above). If inclement weather conditions force cancellation of the hike on both September 23 and the back-up date of September 24, a full refund of payments will be made.
