off 5K Celebrity Power Walk
Three-time Olympian Matt Biondi, mixed martial
arts world champion Robert Ferguson, and KGMB9 News Sports Anchor Liz Chun
will kick off the LifeFest Kapalua Celebrity Power Walk on Saturday,
September 25, at Kapalua Resort. The scenic 5K walk through the resort is
sponsored by Meadow Gold Dairies and benefits the National Multiple

Phiya Kushi to present at LifeFest Kapalua
We regret that Michio Kushi has had to cancel
his attendance at LifeFest Kapalua due to circumstances beyond his
control. We are pleased to welcome his son, Phiya Kushi, in his father's
place. The former executive director of the Kushi Institute, Phiya
promises to bring his tremendous wealth of knowledge about macrobiotics to

Application forms are now available for the
Pu`u Kukui Nature Walk, the most exclusive hike in Hawaii. Scheduled for
Thursday, September 23, 2004, during LifeFest Kapalua, the Pu`u Kukui
Nature Hike is a fascinating, interpretive tour through one of the most
biologically rich areas in the islands, home to nearly a dozen plant and
animal species found no where else on the planet. Limited to 11
participants; benefits the Pu`u Kukui Preserve management program.

Exhibitor Applications for "Fit
for Life" Health Expo
Exhibitor applications are now available for
LifeFest Kapalua’s “Fit for Life” Health Expo, scheduled for September 25
and 26, 2004. The “Fit for Life” Health Expo will be located at The
Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, adjacent to LifeFest Kapalua’s lecture rooms where
foot traffic is anticipated to be heaviest during the weekend. Each
exhibitor space consists of two six-foot tables arranged in an “L”
pattern. The health expo is free and open to the general public.
